Almond Growers Gain a New Advocate in Alexi Rodriguez

Alexi Rodriguez, who currently chairs the Almond Board of California’s Board of Directors, will switch hats in January, when she will become the CEO of the industry’s chief lobbying organization, the Almond Alliance.

The new CEO of the Almond Alliance, the industry’s lead lobbying organization, will be uniquely qualified. Alexi Rodriguez, who current chairs the Almond Board of California’s Board of Directors, is stepping down in January to take the reins of the Alliance.
Rodriguez is certainly a busy woman. She is also Director of Operations for Campos Brothers Farms of Fresno County, CA, and when called for comment upon being named to her new post, couldn’t respond because she was due to have a baby any day.
She will have certainly have her hands full in all sorts of ways, as the industry has faced some turbulent times in the last few years. With the impending election, industry leaders are bracing for just about anything.
Blake Vann, who chairs the Almond Alliance, said that with a distinguished career in the almond industry and a deep commitment to agricultural advocacy, Rodriguez will lead the Almond Alliance into its next chapter of growth.

YOUNG BUT EXPERIENCED
Rodriguez brings more than 15 years of experience in the industry. Her leadership has driven strategic growth, operational efficiency, and innovation across the industry, Vann said. Beyond her operational roles, Rodriguez has strongly advocated for the almond industry on regulatory and compliance matters.
Rodriguez’s appointment follows an extensive search process, underscoring the Almond Alliance’s commitment to finding a leader who embodies the organization’s vision and values, he said. Her leadership is expected to bring fresh perspectives and strategies to strengthen the Alliance’s role as the voice of American almonds.
Rodriguez is uniquely positioned to lead the Almond Alliance as it continues to promote the interests of its members and drive the industry toward a sustainable and prosperous future, Vann said.
Clarice Turner, President and CEO of the Almond Board of California, said she and her ABC colleagues were delighted to congratulate Rodriguez for being named the incoming CEO of the Almond Alliance.
