Help Wanted To Find Next Honorees for Florida Citrus Hall of Fame

The Florida Citrus Hall of Fame is looking for its next class of inductees. Nominations are currently being sought to fill out the Class of 2025. Eligible nominees include distinguished leaders who have made significant contributions to the Florida citrus industry in any of the following fields: pioneers, harvesting, packing, processing, marketing, scientific and/or educational areas.

The induction luncheon ceremonies are tentatively scheduled for Friday, March 28, 2025 in the George Jenkins Fieldhouse at Florida Southern College in Lakeland. The celebratory luncheon is co-sponsored by the Florida Department of Citrus and Florida Citrus Mutual.

The latest inductees to the Florida Citrus Hall of Fame (Class of 2024) included Dr. Robert M. “Bob” Behr, George H. Streetman, and Leland K. Young.

Nominations are due by Nov. 1. Forms are available at floridacitrushalloffame.com.
