Andermatt Group Acquires Biotepp

Andermatt Group AG acquired BioTEPP Inc., the Canadian company recognized for its biological pest control product, Virosoft CP4. The acquisition of BioTEPP underlines Andermatt’s commitment to sustainable agriculture, expanding its comprehensive biological product offerings to growers worldwide.

Andermatt and BioTEPP are united by a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. Virosoft CP4, BioTEPP’s flagship product, provides an environmentally friendly alternative to chemical insecticides. Virosoft CP4 is a granulovirus-based biopesticide that targets codling moth and oriental fruit moth larvae without negatively impacting beneficial insects and overall ecosystem health. The integration of the BioTEPP business into Andermatt combines the strengths of both companies, supporting Andermatt’s ability to develop and deliver cutting-edge biological products.

“We are excited to join forces with the Andermatt Group, a company that shares our dedication to innovation and sustainability,” BioTEPP President Claude Gagnon says. “This partnership will enable us to expand the reach of Virosoft CP4 and continue developing new solutions for pest management that will make a significant impact on sustainable agriculture globally.”

“We are thrilled to welcome BioTEPP Inc. to the Andermatt Group,” Andermatt Group AG CEO Daniel Zingg says. “This acquisition aligns perfectly with our vision to advance sustainable agriculture through innovative biological solutions, enabling the production of healthy food and a healthy environment, for all. We look forward to leveraging our combined expertise to the benefit of growers around the world.”
