Coronavirus Drives 2021 Southeast Fruit and Vegetable Conference Online
Organizers of the Southeast Regional Fruit and Vegetable Conference held annually in Savannah, GA, have announced the 2021 version will be held virtually Jan. 5-7.
“Our No. 1 priority is protecting the health and well-being of all attendees and we are excited to move our conference to a virtual event,” said Charles Hall, Executive Director of the Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association (GFVGA).
The annual industry event, coordinated and sponsored by the GFGVA and the South Carolina Peach Council, is the largest educational conference and trade show in the Southeast U.S. and will continue to present unique opportunities for exhibitors and attendees to network and share the latest advances in fruit and vegetable production technology through an interactive trade show platform and extensive education program.
Organizers say the Southeast Regional Fruit and Vegetable Conference will once again feature a comprehensive education program with leading commodity experts from across the country. Presented in both live and on demand formats, sessions are designed to keep growers up to date on production technology, new varieties, regulations and business opportunities.
The Southeast Regional Fruit and Vegetable Conference team will release details soon for booth and product showcase options that will include interactive tools to optimize product and service demonstrations. This year’s trade show will feature dedicated exhibitor “Power Hours” to provide industry suppliers the opportunity to showcase their new products and services and will be accessible around the clock to allow attendees to browse through the trade show at their convenience.
