Take a Virtual Tour of Ramseyer Farms’ Agritourism Business
Dennis and Karen Ramseyer both grew up on farms. When they began talking about having an agritourism business on their generational, century farm, they wanted to share the fun they had as children. They also wanted to keep the experience based in agriculture, so the attractions never stray far from that core goal. Here are few ideas at the popular Wooster, OH-based attraction.

The Corn Barn
The Ramseyers shared childhood memories of playing in silos instead of sand pits. So they recreated that memory for their guests on a large scale. Experience has taught the Ramseyers they need to lay down a few guidelines to keep their guests safe. A large sign hangs overhead stating the Corn Barn Rules.

Target Shooting
Guests get to try out their aiming skills on a potato shooter. Like a golf driving range, signs indicate distance, with a bit of humor thrown in with the backsides of farm animals.

Great Photo Op
Another way guests can feed goats is by hand. And this encourages the goats to poke their heads through a fun photo board. Behind the panel are two levels for the goats to stand on -- the ground and a platform.

Goats like to explore, so the Ramseyers created an enclosure with a bridge made from farm equipment, different enclosures and places to shelter.

Outdoor Food Area
While Ramseyer has a couple food trucks of their own, they welcome area food vendors to set up shop. One prime spot is the big entry alley, which has nearby tables and games.

A-Maze-ing Fun Time
One of the large corn mazes changes patterns every year. The Ramseyers hang framed photos of each one. And the wood for the frame? It’s from the family’s original barn, adding a layer of significance to the photos.
