Hopcott Farms, which has a second location for all its agritourism attractions, holds pig races for his customers. Pigs are much easier to train than you would expect.

8. Maan Farm Is In A Hoop House Structure
A year ago, Maan Farms Country Experience's main structure burned to the ground. In order to get back up and operating quickly, the owners decided to go with a greenhouse structure instead of rebuilding a its previous two-story structure, since it was only a fourth of the cost. That practical decision has a lot of payoff, including the amount of light that now floods the interior.

9. Lepp Farm Market Uses Chalk Paint On Its Display Cases
Lepp Farm Market takes chalk art signs to another level. Not only did it have this cuts-of-beef diagram, it also had cooking instructions for one of its take-and-heat dishes (with the dish circled) and a heart around its chocolate-dipped, beef-jerky roses.

Lepp Farm Market takes promoting locally-grown to another level. These color-coded signs let customers know if the product they are looking at is produced there on the farm, if it's from another British Columbian farm, imported form the U.S., or sourced elsewhere. The codes also allow for indicating favorites, if the product is organic, or on special.
