The only way for us to cover the issues that affect your fruit business and your industries is four our editors to hit the road, or in your case, the row.

The editorial team at American and Western Fruit Grower, including our graphic designer, Creative Services Manager, Maggie Puskas; Associate Editor, Christina Herrick; Editor, David Eddy; Group Editor Richard Jones; and Editor Emeritus Dick Meister, are pictured throughout the year covering the stories you need to know in the field.

In fact, our entire company has a long history and commitment to the fruit industry. This past fall, the employees at Meister Media Worldwide (founded as American Fruit Grower Publishing Company), visited Patterson Fruit Farm in Chesterland, OH, for our annual company “Mystery Trip.”

Patterson’s Fruit Farm is no mystery, though. The farm has been a staple in the area for four generations.

The family offers pick-your-own apples, hay rides, and play area, as well as a robust 150-acre farm with peaches, apples, and berries; a 3-acre corn maze; a farm market stocked with doughnuts, pies, fresh cider and apples of course!
