Granny Smith Apples Recalled Due To Possible Contamination

 In a release from FDA, Northstar Produce Inc. of St. Louis Park, MN, has recalled 33 cases of Granny Smith size 175-count apples.

 

There have been no illnesses reported. The recall is following a routine test on a sample of apples. The test indicated the presence of Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella, and/or Enterohemorrhagic E. coli.

The apples were sold in tray packs between Oct.1-19 at Mike’s Discount Foods in Fridley and Anoka, MN.
