Michigan State University To Host Field Day At Clarksville Research Center
Michigan State University (MSU) will hold a field day on June 23 at Clarksville Research Center, 9302 Portland Road Clarksville, MI, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
The field day will include presentations on cherry breeding, high-density apple and cherry systems, thinning trials, tree hedging, high tunnel fruit production, and Solid Set Canopy Delivery Systems.
There will be an orchard equipment show with products from suppliers such as Agrothermal Systems, Cravo, Crop Production Services, Gillisons Fabrication, Louis Gelder and Sons, Phil Brown Welding, Precise Manufacturing, Wilbur Ellis, and Voen.
An orchard pest and disease walk, conducted by Amy Irish-Brown and Matthew Grieshop, will be held after the field day.
