Longtime Florida-based strawberry grower and supplier Wish Farms continues to bolster its product lineup, now adding raspberries alongside blueberries and blackberries.

According to James Peterson, VP of Fresh Sales, Wish will be growing and marketing raspberries and blackberries from its new farm in Santa Maria, CA. “This marks a shift from spot-production to a consistent year-round supply,” he stated.

Since the operation announced the addition of blackberries in October 2016, the company has expanded their year-round berry supply, adding acreage and developing more retail partnerships as well as consumer programs. Amber Maloney, Director of Marketing for Wish Farms, stated, “We are looking forward to exploring even more creative ways to connect consumers to our complete berry patch and deliver a memorable experience.”

Wish is currently in the midst of a two-year marketing campaign called “Life Is Sweet,” which encourages consumers to engage with Wish Farms directly through either its “How’s My Picking?” consumer feedback program, or through Wish Farms’ social media and e-newsletter platforms.
