Guardian® is a peach rootstock used with almonds, peaches, nectarines, plums, prunes, and apricots. One of the only rootstocks tolerant of ring nematode, which is thought to be partially responsible for peach tree short life. A good vigorous rootstock to use in replant situations or on soils known to have nematode or bacterial canker problems.
