Apache AS1240 XP Sprayer (Equipment Technologies)
Approximately 33% lighter than its competitors and available in 300-hp, the XP package from Apache Sprayers provides the perfect combination of power, traction, and efficiency, the company says. This model offers the nextgen boom height and stability control system with Raven XRT with dampers (that can include boom AutoFold), plus an impressive range of enhanced spray techniques. These include precision application improvements for a wide range of spray speeds and rates (including nozzle-by-nozzle flow control), a quick spray mode (QSM) from machine display, and a front-fill option. The XP is boasting the highest-capacity model in the lineup, featuring a 1,200-gallon tank, so users spend less time refilling and more time spraying.

T-Series Prowler (GVM)
The T-Series Prowler offer some of the industry’s largest sprayer capacities, equipped with the 1,800-gallon stainless-steel product tank and built-in 100-gallon freshwater tank. Both units feature optional 120-foot aluminum fold-around booms on 20-inch or 20-/30-inch centers, Hypro wet-seal product pump, and a standard 15-section Altek air shut-off for precise product placement. The sprayer features Hypro Express Ends and a standard Raven ISO with seamless compatibility with any ISO controller. New for 2022, the Raven VSN Visual Guidance system, to minimize crop damage and ensure application is on target. The Prowler spray systems are rugged, built for durability, and allow operators to stay in the field longer between fill-ups, according to the company.

STS 16 (Hagie Manufacturing)
The Hagie STS16 self-propelled sprayer is the largest, highest capacity machine in the STS line-up, with the capability to perform all full-season application needs. The STS16 has a 1,600-gallon solution capacity, packaged together in a well-balanced machine design, featuring 72 inches of clearance, a 375-hp John Deere engine, an application-specific cab, and boom widths ranging from 90 feet to 132 feet. There are special considerations made for front-to-rear weight split, tight turning radius, narrow crop package, and expanded capabilities for fertilizer application. It incorporates the latest in John Deere precision ag technology, including JDLink Connect, a John Deere Gen 4 4640 Universal Display, and John Deere Rate Controller 2000.

Rubicon 9000 (Hardi North America)
One of the largest self-propelled sprayers on the market, the Rubicon 9000 features a 2,200-gallon product tank and can be fitted with front-mounted aluminum booms ranging in lengths from 120 feet to 160 feet. It is equipped with a Cummins 8.9-liter QSL 9 engine that is capable of delivering up to 380-hp in operation while providing 72 inches of crop clearance.

Leeb LV (Horsch LLC)
The core design of the Leeb VL focuses on solutions to control drift, system clean out, and productivity. The Leeb VL utilizes low boom heights (below 20 inches) for direct application and 10-inch nozzle spacings which maximizes coverage while minimizing the impact of drift. 400 and 600 Series sprayers (John Deere)
All 400 and 600 Series Sprayers feature a John Deere PowerTech Engine and the fuel-saving CommandDrive powertrain. The 408R features an 800-gallon tank and a 280-hp PowerTech 6.8-L engine. The 410R is equipped with a 1,000-gallon tank and a 310-hp PowerTech 9-L engine. The 412R comes with a 1,200-gallon tank and is powered by a 326-hp PowerTech 9-L engine. The 612R features a 1,200-gallon tank and a 355-hp PowerTech 9-L engine. The largest model is the 616R equipped with a 1,600-gallon tank and a 375-hp PowerTech engine. All 400 and 600 Series Sprayers can be equipped with 90-, 100-, or 120-foot steel booms, or 120- or 132-foot carbon-fiber spray booms.

Miller Nitro 7000 series front boom sprayers are built to exceed the demanding requirements of today’s commercial applicators and growers. 7550/7650 (Oxbo International)
Oxbo 7650/7550 sprayers have multiple options, including choice of 1,200 or 1,600 gallons, 90- to 120-foot Millennium booms, and walking beam chassis suspension. A direct-injection system is available, with up to four tanks, and a choice of Ag Leader, John Deere, or Raven precision. Full-time, four-wheel drive and all-wheel steer keeps operators going in the muddiest conditions. The unit features the highest crop clearance in the industry (77 inches), a Scania DC09 engine, and manufacturer-direct support, the company says.

RBR Vortex sprayers are engineered with proven RBR chassis performance. Cover more ground and maximize ROI with either a 1,600- or 2,000-gallon tank and boom options from 90 feet up to 135 feet. ExtraLight Pasture Spreader & Sprayer (Stahly)
The ExtraLite Pasture Spreader and Sprayers are sized to be versatile productive machines for smaller fields or where more travel is required at far more affordable price point. Much more capable than pickup units but with more durable chassis permitting spreader boxes and spray tanks. These small to mid-sized applicators have proven to be popular in many regions and fit the bill even in the Midwest for smaller jobs.
