Syngenta’s new herbicide Acuron incorporates bicyclopyrone, a novel ingredient, which is combined with three other active ingredients and three complementary, overlapping modes of action for multitargeted control of difficult weeds in corn. It provides broad-spectrum control of more than 70 broadleaf weeds and annual grasses including giant ragweed, common ragweed, Palmer amaranth, waterhemp, marestail, kochia, cocklebur, morningglory, and Russian thistle.
