Plastic Mulch Layer/Transplanter
The FP/FPA Evolution from Costruzioni Meccaniche Ferrari is a plastic mulch layer combined with a transplanter. The FP plastic mulch layer lays down plastic film (polyethylene, biodegradable, or paper) earthing up the sides at the same time by using plowshares that are adjustable in width and height. The FPA mechanical transplanter can be combined with the FP, and tranplants spherical and conical shaped plugs. It works on various films as well as bare soil, and can be used in both greenhouse operations and open field. It has adjustable row widths starting at 23 centimeters (cm) and adjustable plant spacings from 18 cm to 165 cm.
