‘Emerald Crown’ was specifically bred for high quality and high yield, crown cuts, short trims. A medium maturing, very uniform, heavy-headed, domed broccoli with small beads on a small-framed plant. ‘Empire’ produces a high-domed, smooth head with great weight and excellent color. It is primarily for the crown cut, short-trim markets. It shows very strong blind plant tolerance. Matures from direct seed in 102 days and transplant in 92 days.

The well-domed heads are a beautiful, deep-purple color (overlaid on a dark-green background) with vibrant, bright violet stems. Suitable for bunching or crowns. ‘Purple Magic’ has performed very well in cool-weather conditions in coastal regions in California and for fall crops in northern areas. The color is a darker purple and more attractive than other commercial purple types (that we have trialed). A 2024 AAS winner! Matures in 62 days.

‘Tahoe RZ’ is a multi-use hybrid broccoli for fresh market. It performs best from cool-to-warm conditions with drip or furrow irrigation.
