Rotam Expands Herbicide Line
August 27, 2013 Rotam has acquired an EPA registration for Dicamba technical and Dicamba 480 SL as part of its global strategy to expand with this molecule in the U.S. Dicamba is already registered and sold by Rotam in the European Union market.
This product addition is a key first step in broadening the line of important herbicides for Rotam in the U.S. crop protection market. Jean Michel Duhamel, chief commercial officer, explains: “The U.S. market is a key focus for Rotam as it seeks to continue its rapid growth globally. Dicamba is the first of several molecules Rotam will bring to the U.S. market within the next few years.”
According to Tom Chavez, general manager of Rotam North America, “We are excited to announce the launch of our Rotam label for Dicamba in to the U.S. market. The addition of Dicamba to our current portfolio will extend our ability to offer comprehensive crop solutions, which help growers protect a wide range of field and specialty crops.”
