The training helps participants understand the benefits of the broad Valent Organic Solutions portfolio, which includes biological insecticides, fungicides, plant growth regulators, and root-enhancement products.

“Valent is dedicated to not only leading, but also supporting the growing community,” said Jim Hansen, Marketing Manager with Valent. “Morgan helped to expand the knowledge and support of Valent Organic Solutions so that growers can be more informed of the valuable tools available to improve and protect their crops.”

Byron was presented the scholarship as a part of Graduate Student Appreciation Week at University of Florida by her academic advisor Dr. Jennifer L. Gillett-Kaufman, her Organic Project Supervisor Dr. Danielle Treadwell, and Valent Sales Representative Sarah Markle.
